We are a learning organization whose core business is to design engaging academic work for students and lead them to success in that work.
Our students are volunteers of their time and customers for quality academic work.
Our parents and community members are active participants in our learning organization.
Our teachers are leaders and designers of engaging academic work.
Our principals are leaders of leaders who promote a nurturing environment for the development of engaging work.
Our central administration members build leadership capacity that will facilitate and promote our core business.

Our school board members are community leaders and advocates for schools.

Cotulla ISD will have every student in every classroom engaged in meaningful and challenging learning experiences with instruction designed to lead them to meet and exceed high academic and community standards.

District Goals
District Goal 1
Cotulla ISD will ensure that all students master rigorous academic standards that prepare them for higher education and post high school experiences through a challenging curriculum and engaging instruction by ensuring that they meet and exceed all state and national standards for academic excellence.
District Goal 2
Cotulla ISD will continue to close the achievement gap between special education, economically disadvantaged, limited English proficient, at-risk, and other students.
District Goal 3
Cotulla ISD will provide a POSITIVE and safe school environment that fosters mutual respect of all stakeholders.
District Goal 4
Cotulla ISD will enhance and enrich the education of students by increasing opportunities for parental involvement by forming partnerships and offering parent academies.
District Goal 5
Cotulla ISD will ensure the recruitment, development, retention, and support of exceptional, highly motivated, highly qualified faculty and staff to optimize student engagement and achievement.
