Student Heroes

Oscar Salazar - November 11, 2009

Oscar Salazar came to my mind.  He is a student who is very dependable.  He is President of his Junior class and I can count on him to get anything done.  He is the one who would help me every Friday morning at 7:00 am  put up pep rally posters and decorate.  He was one of the ones who made sure that posters were made every week for the pep rallys.  Many teachers can call on him to do a favor, pass on a message, copy papers, etc....  Since he worked in the counselor's office in the summer, he knows how to work many of the machines.  Lastly, he is very helpful to his peers.  Yesterday in AP Chemistry, he finished his work, stood up (along with Audrey Nieto) and asked if anyone in the room needed help with their assignment.  Some did, so he proceeded to go and help them.  Oscar is one of a kind and he is my "hero".
