Mrs. Katherine Galindo-Garcia was born and raised in Cotulla, Texas.  She graduated from Cotulla High School in 1999 and attended Our Lady of the Lake University for three years, concentrating her studies in both English and Criminal Law courses.  In the Spring of 2005 Mrs. Garcia transferred to the University of Texas Pan American where she obtained her undergraduate degree in English, with a minor in Criminal Justice.  In the future she plans to obtain her masters in both reading and English, and hopes to one day have the opportunity to work on her doctorate.  Mrs. Garcia is a certified teacher in the state of Texas and has been working with Cotulla Independent school District for over four years.
