The Imaginarium of South Texas visited Encinal Elementary on November 17.  Students enjoyed the 'STEAM festival' which emphasized Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.  The presentations included 8 stations of hands-on activities for the students including dry ice bubbles, marble runs, wind tunnel, construction zone, stomp rockets, gyro rings, slime and spin art.  Encinal Elementary thanks the Imaginarium staff for their time and effort in making learning fun!

parents

For the 3rd year in a row, Encinal Elementary School parents attended the Family and Community Engagement Symposium at Education Service Center Region 20 in San Antonio.  Accompanied by Norma Garcia, Encinal Elementary Parent Involvement Aide/PEIMS clerk, the parents were able to attend sessions on home school relationships, family engagement, social and emotional issues, understanding school systems, and community resources.

Encinal Elementary is very proud of the commitment of these parents to take time out of their busy schedules to support our community!
