South Texas Blood and Tissue awards Cotulla High School FFA $1,000!

Congratulations to the Cotulla FFA for hosting four or more blood drives!  Last year, CHS provided 140 units of blood to the STBT! 

The next Blood Drive is scheduled for September 30th!

CHS Spaghetti Supper for Football, Volleyball, Cheerleaders, Chaparettes, and Cross Country was held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014.  Alicia Zamudio and Jared Garcia, CHS Seniors, inspired their fellow teammates to show support for one another.  Good Luck Cowboys and Cowgirls and have a great year!

Cotulla High School Class of 2018!

The CHS Class of 2018 attended Freshmen Orientation on Monday, August, 18, 2014.  The National Honor Society Members hosted the event and assisted the 9th graders with their class schedule, campus tour, and helpful high school tips. Door prizes were given away and the Class sponsors met with the class to discuss fundraisers!

Hello Class of 2015,

The essay topics for Apply Texas are listed below: 

  • Essay A: Describe a setting in which you have collaborated or interacted with people whose experiences and/or beliefs differ from yours. Address your initial feelings, and how those feelings were or were not changed by this experience.
  • Essay B: Describe a circumstance, obstacle or conflict in your life, and the skills and resources you used to resolve it. Did it change you? If so, how?
  • Essay C: Considering your lifetime goals, discuss how your current and future academic and extra-curricular activities might help you achieve your goals.

The essays should be at least 1 page long.  Save your essays on a USB and then you can copy and paste them to your application.  Applications for the Fall 2015 will be available August 1, 2014.  Please make sure that you meet the application deadlines.  If you received an ACT or SAT fee waiver, then you are eligible to receive ACT or SAT application fee waivers.  Just come by Mrs. Maldonado's office.
