Cotulla FFA Chapter Show

January 13, 2018 the FFA had a showmanship clinic and chapter show. Michelle Whalen the Sabinal Ag teacher was able to come and and teach the students the techniques of showing each animal and then judged the animals in the chapter show. The grand champion hog was Leodoro Martinez and the reserve champion was Eliyah Ramirez. The grand champion goat was Danika Walker and the reserve champion was Raelynn Ayala. The grand champion hepher was Aiden Rooks. The grand champion steer was Ryan Sanchez and the reserve champion was Robert Sanchez. The showmanship senior winners were Elisabeth Flores, Leodoro Martinez, and Carlos Alba. The Junior winners were Robert Sanchez, Danika Walker, and Sirene Ramirez. We would like to thank the buckle and award donors, directors, parents, and friends.

The deadline for a Spring 2018 Elective change is Wednesday, January 17, 2018.  The Second semester starts on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.


Students will have a Student Holiday on Monday, January 22, 2018.   The CHS Faculty and Staff will have Inservice/Prep Day.  Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

All students will need to report to the Cafetorium at 7:45 am on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 to pick up their 2nd semester schedule. 




All Juniors will take the ASVAB on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 8:00 am – 11:30 am in the CHS Cafetorium.
